Arrangements

Arrangements is a compelling play that explores generational tensions and differing perspectives on one of life’s most pivotal milestones: marriage. Written by playwright, producer, and award-winning journalist Jasmine Amjad, it follows a Pakistani American woman navigating her family's efforts to arrange her marriage.

Featured in the New York Theater Festival in July 2024, the play sold out all three of its allotted shows and received rave reviews. Through a thought-provoking and humorous lens, Arrangements examines the complexities of arranged marriage and the unique challenges faced by American Muslim women, offering a nuanced reflection on cultural traditions and personal identity.
